01Option 1: in the game (fastest)
- Open NEON SWARM and make sure your phone is connected to the internet.
- On the home screen, tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Tap Privacy and help.
- Tap Erase my progress.
- Confirm twice. That's it.
This immediately deletes your online save, deletes your Unity player account (the anonymous player ID, on Unity Gaming Services' servers), and your progress on this phone. Your game settings on the phone are kept. It can't be undone.
Uninstalling the game is not enough. Removing the app deletes the data on your phone, but not the online save on the server. Erase your progress first, then uninstall.
02Option 2: by email
If you no longer have the game, or the in-game option doesn't work for you, send an email to astrotixi@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my NEON SWARM account" and include:
- your Player ID, if your version of the game shows one in Settings › Privacy and help;
- your nickname in the game;
- your platform (iPhone or Android);
- roughly when you last played;
- if you made purchases, a store order number (it helps us find the right account).
Because accounts are anonymous, these details are how we find yours. We confirm the deletion by email within 30 days, usually much sooner. If we can't identify an account with certainty, we will tell you rather than delete someone else's.
03What is deleted, what is kept
Deleted
- Your anonymous player account and ID, deleted from Unity Gaming Services.
- Your online save: progress, coins, gems, owned and equipped items, game preferences.
- Your public profile: nickname, portrait, ornament, name plate, league, skin.
- Your entries and run data in the current monthly leaderboard and in archived months.
- Your progress on the phone (in-game option).
Kept, and why
- Purchase records (store transaction ID, product, date): kept only as long as French accounting and tax law requires, up to 10 years, separately from any game data.
- Crash reports: anonymous and never linked to your account, so there is nothing to connect to you. They expire automatically at the end of Unity's retention period.
- Emails you sent us: kept while we handle your request, then deleted on request.
How long it takes
- Online save and account: immediately with the in-game option.
- Nickname and distance already published in a monthly leaderboard: removed by hand within a few days, and within 30 days at most.
- Email requests: within 30 days.
04Deleting only some data
Want to keep playing but remove your nickname and scores from the leaderboard, or just change your nickname? Email us with your nickname and we'll remove your leaderboard entries without touching your save. You can also change your nickname yourself on the Profile screen.
05Good to know
- Purchases already made are not refunded by deleting your account. Refunds go through Apple or Google: see Support.
- If you play again after deleting, the game creates a brand-new anonymous account.
- More detail about what we collect is in the Privacy Policy.
